Three partners.
One solution.
For every family.

Affordable child care that works for families, employers, and providers.

Empire State Child Care Share is a new approach to making child care
more affordable and accessible. By sharing the cost of care among
families, employers, and New York State, this program helps parents
stay in the workforce, supports businesses in retaining employees, and
ensures child care providers are paid reliably. It’s a simple idea with real
impact — when the cost of care is shared, everyone benefits.

Empire State Child Care Share brings together the resources families need, the support employers can offer, and the stability providers deserve — all in one shared solution.

We thank Governor Hochul, the New York State Office of Children and Family Services, Early Care & Learning Council, BrightsideUp, Family enrichment Network, and the Child Care Resource Network for their leadership in launching this pilot program and supporting working families across New York.
